Trivalent chromium base chromate passivation process for zinc and zinc alloy deposits is specially for environment friendly alternative to existing hexavalent chromium based passivations, which are known carcinogenic and major health and environment hazard. In response to new EU guidelines use of Cr+6 based Passivates are to be replaced with Cr+3 based ones. Passivates give improved Corrosion resistance and are now well established alternative in auto and other industries. CMP has long proven products range in this category.
